Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
These instructions apply to orders placed with SydneyKJewelry and serve as additional guidance alongside statutory consumer rights.
1) Returns within 14 days
If you would like to return your order, you may do so within 14 days after delivery.
To be eligible for a return, the item must:
• be unworn and unused
• be returned complete and without signs of use
• be in the original packaging
• filling material and gifts must not be removed
• include all tags and components
We also require proof of purchase (e.g. order number, invoice or screenshot).

Return shipping costs
If the return is not due to an error on our side, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Please send returns insured and with tracking, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
2) Defective items / incorrect delivery
If something is wrong with your order (for example a damaged item or an incorrect product), please contact us as soon as possible after receiving the package, ideally including photos.
We will review the case immediately and find an appropriate solution.
3) Items that cannot be returned
For certain reasons (e.g. hygiene or custom production), some items are excluded from returns and the right of withdrawal.
In particular, the following items cannot be returned:
• earrings (hygiene items, therefore excluded from returns/exchanges)
• personalized items or custom-made products
• gift cards
• sale or final-sale items
• products that cannot be returned for legal reasons
If you are unsure whether an item can be returned, please contact us before purchasing – we will gladly assist you.
4) Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different item, the fastest option is:
Return the item (if eligible) → once confirmed, simply place a new order.
5) Legal right of withdrawal (EU)
Consumers within the European Union have the statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, without providing a reason.
To exercise this right, a simple notification within this period is sufficient (email is acceptable).
After withdrawal, the goods must be returned within 14 days.
Return shipping costs
These are borne by the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g. defect or incorrect item).
Refunds
After a valid withdrawal, we will refund the purchase price and, if applicable, the standard delivery costs within 14 days, at the latest once the returned goods have been received or proof of return shipment has been provided.
Please note: The right of withdrawal does not apply to items that are legally excluded (e.g. custom-made products or hygiene items such as earrings).
6) Customs duties & import fees (international orders)
All orders are shipped from Germany.
For deliveries outside the EU, additional charges may occur (e.g. customs duties, import taxes or handling fees from the shipping provider).
These costs are not included in the product or shipping price and must be paid by the buyer.
Important:
If a package is refused, not collected or returned due to unpaid customs fees, shipping costs and return handling fees will be deducted from the refund.
Please ensure that your shipping address is correct and that any applicable fees are paid in time.
7) Refunds
Once your return has arrived, we will inspect the item.
You will then receive confirmation whether the return has been accepted.
If everything is in order, the refund will be issued within 10 business days to the original payment method.
Depending on your bank or payment provider, the final processing time may vary.
Legal validity
The German version of this policy shall be legally binding.
